Kh Nail Bar — Web Design

While I was in Montreal, friends put me in touch with a nail artist who wanted a site of her own: somewhere to show her work as a portfolio, and somewhere clients could book an appointment with her directly. I built the site around her pieces, with booking as the thing every page leads to.

There was no site plan and no brief on this one — I designed as I saw fit, and she took it or she didn't. She gave me no colour direction either, so I worked from the one signal I had: her Instagram, which reads clean and pared back. I took that as the palette and kept the site light. Her KH mark came from the same place — I pulled it from her profile, upscaled it, and made it the main logo of the site.
